Well, that's a Bummer

It's kind of a bummer that Vox is closing it's doors come September 30. I mean, really, I was beginning to think that Six Apart was taking on a bit too much - after all, they purchased LiveJournal (is that  next?? I hope not!), they have TypePad (which is usually a paid service but if you import your Vox blog there, they'll let you have one for free), and the are the creators/developers of Movable Type, a blogging platform that I will be honest, I was never really able to figure out. So the end of yet another era is upon us. :(

First Yahoo! shuts down GeoCities, now Six  Apart shuts down Vox. What's next??
